Recovery Salad

I was feeling out of gas after a couple days of hard training, so I whipped this guy up and felt much better after eating it.  It looks a little funky, but it tasted amazing!  This salad is so full of antioxidants, phytonutrients, chlorophyll, alkalizing properties, and easily digestible carbohydrates.  The greens have a higher percentage of protein and the walnuts in the dressing add a bit of fat to help carry all the awesome nutrients in this salad throughout the body.   I will be making this salad again.  

Ingredients:  

Salad:  A lot of, or a combination of kale, spinach, or arugula.  Four mangos.

Dressing:  Two cups of blueberries, three medjool dates, and a small handful of walnuts

Method:  Blend the blueberries, dates, and walnuts.  Then pour over the greens and mango.  That’s it!  Enjoy, and feel the awesome power of this powerhouse of a salad as it repairs your body.
